About me
I am a girl from Melbourne who spends far too much time on the Internet and not nearly enough time in the outside world. My work
I recently completed Year 12, and am studying Media and Communications at the University of Melbourne. After university, a job in writing would be perfect for me, but I have a feeling my love of technology will be extremely willing to overpower. Maybe writing about technology would be the perfect job. Life could be a dream.Fast facts
- At the movies I like to see:Something enternaining; comedy/action/drama is good.
- Last movie seen:Inglourious Basterds. It was awesome.
- Music I listen to:Rock mostly
- Best album right now:21st Century Breakdown - Green Day
- Favorite author:Douglas Adams, John Green, JK Rowling, Jodi Picoult, Dan Brown
- Last book read:Catch-22 by Joseph Heller. Okay, that's a lie. I read about a fifth of it and then realised nothing had sunk in. I will try again this summer. The last time a book gave me this much difficulty was The Hobbit. But at least Catch-22 makes me laugh.
- Best game right now:Tetris. Don't even argue.
- I'm passionate about:Writing, reading, computers.
- I wish I could:Add more hours to the day.
- Favorite travel destination:Italy
- On my vacation I..:Rejoice
- If I won 1 million dollars, I would:Invest, buy lots of stuff, and travel
- If I were a super hero I would:Be Captain Day-Increaser: no time for a shower? I'll add on an hour!
- Fashion I rather not see again:Fluro t-shirts
- My worst purchase ever:Movie ticket to Angels & Demons. Sorry Ron, you stuffed that one up.
- I want my coffee..:To not be given to me; hot chocolate please.
- Food I like:Edible stuff.
- I don't like:See my most recent blog post.
- Software I use:You really think I'm going to list all my software? Come on. But I'm a Vista user anyway (not by choice). It's not as bad as people say.
- Hardware I use:Toshiba laptop
Why I choose the Opera browser
Using Opera is one of the most pleasant experiences I've had in my life. Faster than a speeding bullet, more powerful than IE or Firefox, and able to open numerous tabs without crashing. Speed Dial, wand passwords and mouse gestures are also made of ultimate win.
