Night Wolf (Amir)from Tehran, has adopted six of us Opera women and made us his angels. This extremely talented graphic artist has immortalized us in an amazing poster that he has been working on for the past several weeks (I'm on the bottom right with my love bird, Delia, on my shoulder). Poor Amir had to put up with our demands for what we wanted for clothes, hair styles, measurements (if you will), etc. Night Wolf deserves Member of the Week for this (or at least he should get some commissions for more work)!! It's silly, but that sort of thing is a rush. A band I was in received a fan letter from Jello Biafra of the Dead Kennedys. We taped it to the refrigerator door for posterity(sp?).

Anyway, congratulations on the featured blogger kudos. I know I always enjoy reading your blog.

Close. One week, we played an hour punk rock set at the Mab (Mabuhay Gardens) on Wednesday, headed 250 miles up the coast to play a 4 hour Country/Western set at the McKinleyville Central Station on Friday, and then came back down to the East Bay to play 4 hours of top 40 at a car show in Pleasanton on Sunday.

I'd say we were more mercenary than Punk.

Not only is he a great photographer (some of his pics are on CultureSurfer & there are more I will upload), but he's into other cultures & is extremely intelligent. Gee, that describes about half of our group, doesn't it?
