mmmm er yip ah nice tights :eyes:

PainterWoman 25. November 2008, 14:37

Sexy? Yes!

This scares me about posting pics. I haven't tried lately except I did try to add several favorite paintings in an album. Was only able to upload five instead of nine. Tried a few more times with the four others and was not able to. I guess there are still some problems.

Lorenzo Celsi 25. November 2008, 14:38

Not my idea of sexy.

It seems the recent software update on MyOpera screwed some user accounts and/or some features.

Henry 25. November 2008, 14:39

You have that same problem !!isn't it hideous not being able to upload.
All these fancy pants changes that granted are very good yet left unable to post is #$#^#####^ I feel for ya Naomi!

Henry 25. November 2008, 14:42

Wha! :faint:
Tights are very good to release muscle tension and increase recovery time! :hat: Hey Lorenzo have you heard of LEFT and RIGHT p:

Henry 25. November 2008, 14:43

oooh goodie lets all take Jeff home..

Lorenzo Celsi 25. November 2008, 14:45

LEFT and RIGHT what?

Naomi 25. November 2008, 14:45

Thanks, Lorenzo.

I went back & found the code for the pic I embedded on my last post & used that to post this one.

Opera is bumming me out! :insane:

Naomi 25. November 2008, 14:46

I was joking about the sexy part, btw. I always make fun of Jeff when he's in spandex. p:

slackwrdave 25. November 2008, 14:47

I'm on teeny tiny Opera Mini right now. Can't wait to get home and see the big picture.

Lorenzo Celsi 25. November 2008, 14:47

I demand parity so now you post some girl in spandex

Henry 25. November 2008, 14:47

PainterWoman 25. November 2008, 14:50

I still think it's sexy!

Lorenzo Celsi 25. November 2008, 14:52

Warning everybody:
The imgwhatever=bla bla bla tags in MyOpera DO NOT actually scale the pictures when you align them left or right. You try "view picture" and you discover the small picture aligned on the left as above is actually large as the original. For people who know HTML it is like imposing width and height to the image properties.

To make it simple, the image ONLY looks smaller but it is actually loaded by the browser the original size.

If you want to use thumbnails you must first upload the picture to the album then add it to the page, in that case MyOpera creates some different size thumbnails. Beware then, since the update the thumbnails have got an added line on top and left margins.

Naomi 25. November 2008, 15:08

@ Pam

Naomi 25. November 2008, 15:10

@Lorenzo
I'll do better than post pics of girls in spandex.

There is a fashion show that I haven't uploaded yet and the oh-so-unfortunate 1980's spandex trend is back, so there are models wearing spandex.

Lorenzo Celsi 25. November 2008, 15:17

Like this? The "famous" Milly Vanilly.

Note: the above image is NOT "imgleft=" it is only "img=" and you see it is small on its own, 300px.

The above SpandexJeff is actually 550px × 817px but showed like it was 255px × 379px, not a big deal besides the about 190KB.

Naomi 25. November 2008, 15:25

I know, I realized a while ago that if I don't specify IMGLEFT, the image remains the same size. Opera has some issues to figure out.

Do you know that one of the Milly Vanilly guys committed suicide after the scandal about lip syncing their music? At least that's the rumor...

Lorenzo Celsi 25. November 2008, 15:31

No no, it remains the same size even if you specify "imgleft", that is the point.

MyOpera just PRETENDS to resize the image but it is only a "visual trick", the image your browser loads from the server is still the big one!

I did not know about the suicide. I just reminded them thinking of unfortunate spandex. There were other nice things in the '80s like those jackets with very large shoulders and those large M.C. Hammer trousers.

Oh, also those "young Bono Vox - McGiver" hair...

Naomi 25. November 2008, 15:37

Hope you like the tummy pic. p:

Lorenzo Celsi 25. November 2008, 15:43

Well, it is an improvement from poor SpandexJeff.
Strange eyes then...

Naomi 25. November 2008, 15:52

Makeup. You know, the whole modeling thing. They like to get creative. You're supposed to be looking at the tummy, not the eyes, anyway.

Lorenzo Celsi 25. November 2008, 15:58

I did not concentrate much on the tummy actually but on the knot that holds the shirt closed. It is not what you see but what you can discover...

You may wonder why the eyes then... of course they give the ok for the discovering.

slackwrdave 25. November 2008, 16:34

Spandex has never lost popularity among the ladies (and sometimes others) walking the sea wall in Havana, Cuba. It was an interesting trip a few years ago.

Naomi 25. November 2008, 17:34

There are always many unfortunate fashion statements.

I was recently in a shoe store, looking for a flat, suede boot I could wear when I don't want to wear a boot with a heel. I wear boots from October-March or so & sometimes I just want the laid back feel. Well, the only things I could find when I was looking were...Uggs. They should call those things "Ugg-ly." Most of them, other than those which have been designed to look like Indian moccasins, are beyond ugly. And those babies go for over $175 per pair. I couldn't believe the sign that said "No more than 4 pair of Uggs per customer."

Wish I could create something that lucrative.

BTW, my friend in Zurich informs me that Uggs have been out of fashion for a few years in Switzerland. Apparently, the news hasn't reached the American heartland.

Lorenzo Celsi 25. November 2008, 17:39

But those are for teens!

Naomi 25. November 2008, 17:43

A lot of kids wear them but some adult women wear them as well. Nothing I can do about it.

PainterWoman 25. November 2008, 17:45

I see college students wear them all the time here in Arizona. We don't need them here!

slackwrdave 25. November 2008, 17:50

The only time I will spend that kind of money for footwear is if it's to match a suit or tux. For walking in the park I usually get the $15 child labor sweatshop special.

Lorenzo Celsi 25. November 2008, 17:51

My most hated fashion item are trousers that show your underwear. I hate both the "gangsta" version that look like you are losing them and the tight version mostly used by girls here. For some reason they look extremely bad taste to my eyes.

Naomi 25. November 2008, 18:05

@Pam At least it's cold in St. Louis. I cannot imagine, unless you are somewhere like Flagstaff, why you'd wear Uggs in AZ. Oh, but wait, it's too look cool, not to be cool. (couldn't resist)

@Dave I never spend over $20 on shoes. I hit a discount store & get expensive shoes cheap. :D

@Lorenzo What I totally can't handle is seeing the "gangsta" wanna-be kids walking down the street and grabbing the crotch of their sagging jeans! I mean, come on, keep it in the bedroom!

slackwrdave 25. November 2008, 20:20

The teenager who used to live next door always went around holding up his gangsta pants. One day they fell down completely taking his boxers down with them. After I whistled and yelled "oh baby!", he never let it happen again. lol. In fact, his clothes started fitting a lot better after that. I can't imagine why.

Lorenzo Celsi 25. November 2008, 20:27

Naomi 25. November 2008, 22:08

 ROFL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

night wolf 26. November 2008, 05:19
