Job Hunting

Finding it more difficult than I thought to find employment in the Cincinnati area. So many things to do and not enough time to complete. I have made good progress in organizing things. Hopefully, by tomorrow, I can get bunches more done.

I have most of the email/Monster postings caught up. I have a list of 30 companies to approach tomorrow. I've started contacting local friends, even though I don't like bothering them. I've also made a list of staffing companies to approach.

These are the things I've done before. Always wondering if I'm going about things the right way. Will I find a company that has all the things I look for and need? Doubt has been my weak spot, but I move forward with faith that all will work out for the best.

I certainly wish you all the best in your job search. We met a man at CompUSA before it closed who has gone into private work. He comes to your house and will do maintenance on your computer, install programs for you, etc. Well, he won't come IN to my house because he's allergic to cats, but he seems happy if I move the computer outdoors and he works on it there. I don't know how he's doing, but maybe you could try something like that. If it works out full time, great! If not, it could be additional income.
