I found out this week that a very good friend that I work with (JM) is leaving at the end of this week and moving to another job. So far I have taken this very hard and will sorely miss him. You see, if it were not for him, I'm not sure I could have made it as far as I have at Ashland. I'm sure God's will is/would have been done with his help, but he has made things better for me. Even if JM hadn't helped me, I'm sure we'd still be friends. That's just the type of person he is.

Tomorrow is mid-week. Before you know it, Friday will be here and another weekend beginning. Weather is supposed to be nice (so far), so Saturday I'm thinking about going for a bike ride at Three Rivers. Anyone wish to join me?

Finally, I'm in the market for a new instant messenger. GAIM keeps pulling the linux network protocols down and I have to reboot and Kopete is just plain ugly. So if anyone has any Linux IM suggestions, please leave them in the comments section.
