Thank you for the noticing. Yes, a most definite influence of Klee's polyphonic composition theories is inside the quilt. There is still so much work to be done on this piece.

I agree that the image without a flash, the red and black, has a much better focus. It is more accurate to the original shades. It is so difficult to get good representations of this in photo form due to the varied material of the cloths and threads.
Within that picture is also one of my favorite stitches. I need to go to the shop and get needles some day soon as all of mine are very dull, and this is one of the key tools in doing this work.
