Autumn Gracefully Enters

Butterflies in wind
Gracefully autumn returns
Deep blue day sky nightime stars

Grasshoppers visit
Napping on a sunflower
While forest evolves to gold

Thanks, it is only because the part of Appalachia I live in is such a wonderful place.

Encee 14. October 2008, 01:04

I was born in Appalachia. My Dad was a Forest Ranger and built fire towers from Pennsylvania to Kentucky. We lived in Forest Service cabins in most cases and I remember those as the best times of any. Except for getting poison ivy, that is.
I'm happy to meet you.

Hi Encee! What a wonderful childhood you had. Thank you so much for sharing your memories with me. I also am happy to make your acquaintance.

Encee 16. October 2008, 01:19

Cynthia, surely we have had unique childhoods. I have experienced some tremendous adventures throughout my whole life. Life has given me the power to draw on experiences few have had. I write about many of them and am trying to get a few on-line via my blog page.
It is limiting, I found, to three or less chapters but I will place sections into succeeding blog pages until the manuscripts are fully done.
I hope you read and comment on them.
As always, Applalachia Rules!

Cynthia 19. October 2008, 04:44

Cynthia 19. October 2008, 06:14

:D  :D

Encee 21. November 2008, 01:25

It was Switzerland for me as I was among Dutch and German speaking relatives for my younger years.
When I went to Switzerland for a visit, it was so like Appalachia and the language was too.
