Materials of Time

Beating Hearts

Breath delicately
Shakes dewdrops from morning trees
Sitting inside looking out

Wind unites the clouds
In a correspondence with
Never ending rising sun

The Star Bridge of June

ellinidata 19. September 2009, 04:30

not bad Cynthia,
I wish I can be "home" and see the change of the colors...
how are you my sweet friend?
did you swim in the lake, do gardening, write poetry?
I hope your sumer was one of the best!

I honest missed you much!

momable 19. September 2009, 04:32

Lovely! Especially the second verse. I can just see the images you have written about.

Cynthia23 19. September 2009, 04:35

There is still time. Many more weeks of changing leaves. I call it the time when the trees become the flowers. You know the lake is poisioned ... shhhh (maybe). @@ Hahahahha P: But, swimming in the pool, yes! I am ok. This summer has been the worst and best, but I sat calmly and watched it all.

Thank you so much for your warm and gentle encouragement. It means the world to me.

Cynthia23 19. September 2009, 04:37

Hi Eliane! Thank you! You have given to me a very warm smile with your kind words!

finally your new poem came! Beautiful... beathe delicately.. shakes the dewdrops from morning trees. It truly inspires the image as if I am there holding my breath not to shake the dewdrops...

wind unites the clouds... I am imagining the wind tethers the clouds...

Thanks!

Cynthia23 23. September 2009, 14:54

You are welcome! Thank you for your kind words. Oh, you must breathe ... it renews life and washes off the pollen from your morning walk! :D The forest is thankful!

Cynthia23 14. October 2009, 14:14

Good Morning ... heavy socks and sweater mornings here also. :coffee:

Captivevet 14. October 2009, 16:40

Yep. Right now it is spitting some drops of very cold water.

theKurt 27. October 2009, 13:58

I like your poem. Autumn is a good time to think of the past months. It´s the time, when the "old" year slowly dies. It´s darker, colder, stormy and sometimes you fall in melancholy.

Captivevet 27. October 2009, 18:35

Might explain why I was so down in the dumps yesterday for no apparent reason. :coffee:

Cynthia23 30. October 2009, 02:16

Yes, sometimes, Kurt ... thank you for your gentle and kind words.

Captivevet 30. October 2009, 15:13
