For someone out there to whom I know not, I compose this

The source of the human element of survival is held within.
Untested it lay dormant...but it is there.

Ancestors of a day gone by, proud and perseverant, bestowed upon you this untapped potential. Trust when the time comes, you can take hold of this familial tether...and pull yourself to the summit.

You are stronger than you know. Believe this.

An aura of comfort shall surround you in this quest to overcome the obstacle.

ALONE is a myth.

A scene from "First Blood" a movie a long time ago, is what the picture made me think of. . .

But today I thought of a hummingbird
it can flap it's wings quickly
yet remain in the air still
like treading in water
without going under

And I have those days when I wish
I had wings & could fly
Or wish I could tread water then dive

Or wish I could just go under

On those days I think of angels
who do have wings (I think)
Lord knows I ain't got no halo

I try to get to a prayer
knowing that god is omnipresent
get's all the thoughts and is there

And I try to remind myself that I ain't all that
and all my needs are met, and feeling sorry
for myself is a dangerous place.

And Alone can be a very real place.
