I am a (quasi) Ponce de León seeking the Fountain of Silence

~ ~ ~ ~ Imagine how loud our inner noise would be. A cacophany of synaptic affray ringing a tympanic frenzy upon a structurally unsound quintessence.
Damn, I hate it when that happens, don't you?
Maybe I need to find a new map in which to plot a course to inner placidity. Then again maybe I need to get out the Visa and purchase some of those noise cancellation headphones.
~ ~ I'm sorry..it's noisy here..did you say something?

Or that is the way I interpreted this post...meaning: I am in my room alone a lot, and my thoughts are way too loud. Is that what you were saying?
I could be totally off...

one sound, then another
Then you will hear a song
that will turn into a symphony
And the maze in which you are turned
around, you will no longer be lost
You will enjoy the scenery
It's all supposed to be there,
it's perfectly placed.
And in the middle of all that used to
be confusion. . .
You may find what could be a friend.
