A short while ago I had a moment of realization. I was accused of thinking of no-one but myself. Me, thinking of myself? Right, ok. Before responding I thought about this surprising accusation and realized that I never do think of myself, all my life it's been about others: I'm always lending family money (which I have come to realize causes more problems than it solves), always inconveniencing myself to help another who, after my help, doesn't bother to even say thanks, I'm always the one left with the burden after helping a friend. There are so many parasites and leeches out there, I feel like I'm being picked and picked, until there's nothing left.

I have always tried to live a good life. As mentioned before, I am not very religious but am spiritual, and when I pass on I want to at the very least be able to say, "I lived a good, decent life". Then there are those that take advantage of the good, those who want nothing but to strip you bare. These thoughts made me almost, ALMOST reconsider my take on life, until I came to the conclusion that were I to live by any other manner or logic, I would be no better than those that I have come to be weary of.

As such, I will continue along my path and will not change, I have a deep sense of self-worth and self-appreciation, and can look back on my short life up till now and have no feelings of regret or shame - and that to me is an accomplishment when faced with a world filled with lies upon lies.

If you didn't think of youself before - may be this is high time to begin. When you help people all the time they begin taking it for granted and do not value it.
You should stop helping everywhere and everyone, help to those who you consider good beople and who deserve it. And then your rare acts of help will be noticed.

It's a hard question actually. As soon as he finishes studying, and as soon as we begin earning enough money for living, and a seprate flat, because I have no desire to live with parents. We live in not very rich country - Moldova, but I doubt that you even ever heard of such.

D4rk 4ng3L, you are not right. I can remember things that I can Imagine. For example a fairytale. Song lyrisc - its a poetry with rhyme and I memorize it subconsiously, because I like it may be, and because rhyme helps.

History and especially politics is ABSTRACT, it's not 10 rhymed sentences. Its something big, and so much abstract the sometimes even READING it I don't undestand what it is about, and as a result the picture do not appeer in my brain. I can not later on tell waht it was all about, using my own words, because as I sad I have no picture of it in my had.

A'm a grown up person already not a school girl. I finished university already and I know what my brain can and what it can not. :smile:

Its like somebody can good understand math, and somebody history.

For me it apeared not very hard to learn English, at the same time I also learned German - and it want easy. I don't know why :smile: Still thinking of learning it and/or some other language. :smile:

By the way, I live in Moldova, but I speak Russian and do not know Moldavian. :smile:

11% of Moldovians speak Russian, so I understand that Ymie, also, I am inclined to disagree with you - I am not referring to a person's aptitude to either maths or history. you remember that which interests you, you remember something that you involve yourself in willingly. You clearly where not interested in history, which is why you didnt absorb any of the teachings you attended.
