DeniseDBabbit Thursday, November 27, 2008 5:46:19 AM

I wondered who voted for me there! lol I was still able to vote up until midnight. I may need to read it again, but I thought voting for the finalists were going to continue for another 2 weeks. At any rate, I voted for you from your blog links. heart

Angelikiellinidata Thursday, November 27, 2008 5:52:21 AM

thanks:)
it did not show there but it might later....
or maybe you can vote directly there not to loose votes...

the last day of voting is the 10th of December, no rush, it still time smile

I believe I remember Donny did nominate you in a ctegory, maybe is this one!

DeniseDBabbit Thursday, November 27, 2008 5:58:15 AM

I hope it does! I made sure I commented that I'd voted, so we shall see - and cross our fingers against human error! lol

KarenNerak Thursday, November 27, 2008 6:33:59 AM

There is NOTHING shamless about asking for a vote! Gosh! You've worked hard on your design and it didn't get in the competition for no reason. wink

Good luck, Babs! I think you're a terrific person with a great sense of humor and wonderful outlook. Even if we don't win in the polls, that certainly is no reflection of us as people!

Much love and best of luck! love

DeniseDBabbit Thursday, November 27, 2008 6:58:31 AM

You bet it isn't! BTW, I've got some beautiful liquid lamè paint for sweatshirts if you want an Opera shirt. lol

KarenNerak Thursday, November 27, 2008 7:20:01 AM

lol Sooooooooo funny!!!

I have a Rock Opera t-shirt...but I'm dying to win one of these prize t-shirts. They look really cool in the pics I've see.

DeniseDBabbit Thursday, November 27, 2008 7:47:09 AM

I want one. Have to check the bank balance, but I want to order the hoodie from your store.

KarenNerak Thursday, November 27, 2008 8:01:43 AM

o That would be awesome. Thank you for even thinking of it. I apologize for the prices being so high on there. Cafe Press is clearly money hungry. I only make 10% off of any purchase. But that's okay. It's the thought of someone wearing something I've created that makes it worth it to me.

I'm looking into a different site to sell my stuff. It's called Printfection and it seems a bit more hip than Cafe Press. I'm undecided I still need to look into them further. smile

KarenNerak Thursday, November 27, 2008 8:02:09 AM

BTW - Lovely new background! yes

DeniseDBabbit Thursday, November 27, 2008 8:15:06 AM

I'd like a transparent front layer, but haven't figured that out (yet). lol The background just has leaves on the side and the rest of it is white, so there wouldn't be a problem with seeing the text.

DeniseDBabbit Thursday, November 27, 2008 8:15:34 AM

Oops Except for this. lol

KarenNerak Thursday, November 27, 2008 9:06:41 AM

:lol:Hahaha!!!

DonnyQuinnuendo Thursday, November 27, 2008 6:08:03 PM

You can make all transparent now that we are at it. You just need to set the background-color to transparent in the various wrap layers. I did it once, here http://my.opera.com/NewMythology/blog/

Anyway good luck with the contest wink

sorinste-ven Thursday, November 27, 2008 6:28:01 PM

babs i'll vote your blog design.....where ?
put the address here please sad

DeniseDBabbit Thursday, November 27, 2008 10:16:40 PM

Karen, Printfection looks like they have more color choices for the clothes. up That could be a plus for you. happy

Donny, I'll have a go at it later. There's no wrap layers mentioned in the CSS, so I'll have to experiment - and visit W3C to see what they have to say about wrapped layers.

Steven, it looks like the voting has ended. I can't find the link. sad

sorinste-ven Thursday, November 27, 2008 11:04:17 PM

oh yes, i've seen such transparent site...a vietnamese boy
It looks v much like a myspace site
sorry babs..but...what happens on 10 dec ? confused

DeniseDBabbit Friday, November 28, 2008 10:46:03 AM

Steven, I guess Dec. 10 is when the winners will be announced. It's the thought that counts. I couldn't vote for all of my friends either. awww Thanks for the complement. happy Turkey is served. bigsmile

Dacotah Friday, November 28, 2008 11:28:15 AM

Good luck Babs. smile

DonnyQuinnuendo Friday, November 28, 2008 5:16:15 PM

I guess I confused you a bit. I meant wrap layers, as divs that are wraped one around the other, and are named wrap1..4.

anyway look at this: http://files.myopera.com/NewMythology/user.css

take a look at #wrap3, #wrap4 and #mainwrap. I think that is what you need. That is if you really want to do that smile

DeniseDBabbit Saturday, November 29, 2008 2:35:06 AM

Thanks Donny! heart You're awesome. happy I saved the code to play with it later. I had heard of layers, but didn't know they were called "wraps" until I joined Opera. lol Never hurts to learn something new! bigsmile
