Fast facts

• At the movies I like to see:romantic, drama, some action (depends on how intelligent the script was)
• Last movie seen:Brokeback Mountain (in the theater)...Godfathers I II and III, on DVD at home
• Music I listen to:Usually listen to a news station in the car. Otherwise, mostly classical and 70's and 80's rock....90's disco was okay...Madonna is a goddess...Britney Spears should be shot, however! LOL
• Best game right now:I don't play the latest or violent games....for me...Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune, Hoyle Casino....I've got old Tetris, Frogger, PacMan and Missile Command also, not that I play them often.
• Favorite sports team:Baltimore Orioles and Washington Nationals (US Major League Baseball)..I could care less about NFL Football
• I'm passionate about:Right now...honesty in politics...both US domestic and abroad....The US Government is being run by total jerks forsaken to others!
• I wish I could:Save the world and the US reputation from the George W. Bush administration!!!!
• Favorite travel destination:Thailand, Indonesia and France
• On my vacation I..:haven't had one in over 3 years
• If I won 1 million dollars, I would:Pay off debts, and then lay on the beach in Phuket or Bali until I decided what to do.
• If I were a super hero I would:Resolve the entire Middle East situation -- Iraq, Israel, Palistine, Iran...at the end of the day, there are a lot of things in common to rely on, particularly on the religion side, but THE VAST MAJORITY of people on ALL sides have forgotten that....go to
• Food I like:Home cooked American, Chinese, Thai, Indonesian, German
• I don't like:Vegetarian....unless it's VERY well cooked Indian food.
• Software I use:Windows XP (and all versions before), MS Office, Taxcut, Turbotax, SAS, SAP, Quickbooks...too many to name.
• Hardware I use:Dell and Compaq

Why I choose the Opera browser

Didn't even know Opera existed until August 1999, when I was on vacation in Phuket, Thailand, and stayed at Connect Guesthouse there. It's owned by two Swedish guys who left the IT industry in Europe to start their hotel. I was introduced to Opera 3+ (I can't remember what version anymore...paid for it, used it for a while, but then migrated to another computer and couldn't recover the settings)..Oh well! Let's just say I really, really liked the older versions of Opera, and NOW I LOVE it. I put it back on my computer when it became freeware! It's not just the tabbing ability (which totally freaked me out 5 years ago), but also the speed!!!!! Kudos to the entire Opera team for this!
