HTTPS Web Pages Don't Load in Opera?

, , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , , ,

Hi, nearly two weeks ago, after updating Opera to the newest snapshot, one bug revealed oneself sad Secured (HTTPS) Websites didn't want to load... I had to open stupid Internet Explorer to view secured web pages furious Because of that, i have been searching for solution untill today... Earlier i asked for help in the Opera forum and checked it just today, the solution was posted by Opera Developer yngve. To fix the problem follow steps written below:

1) Go to For Windows XP C:\Documents and Settings\Your Account\Application Data\Opera\Opera
For Windows Vista C:\Users\AppData\Roaming\Opera\Opera

2) Search for files: opcacrt6.dat, opicacrt6.dat and opssl6.dat

3) Delete or move files

4) Rerun Opera

If you did everything correctly, https pages will load correctly smile

don't do that
Remove everything associated to Opera in Application Data and in directory where opera is installed, then do fresh install

I can''t find files, opcacrt6.dat, opicacrt6.dat and opssl6.dat to delete them .. i have tryed step one but neither of those would work for me .. i have windows 7 .. is there a different way to get to those files ?

The problem i am having is opera wont log in to one of my sites i go to daily .. i enter my login info then click login .. it acts like it is doing something then stops and goes nowhere .. can someone plz help?

okay i found those files and deleted them then restarted opera and still have the same problem .. did not work for me .. i went back to that folder and those files were back there again .. sad
