Nach einer Nachtschicht habe ich es geschafft, Slackware halbwegs auf dem Laptop zu installieren. Das DVD-Rom wurde nicht gefunden und so musste ich die Verzeichnisse "slackware", "extra", "testing" und "slackbook" auf die Partition /dev/sda4 kopieren. Dann habe ich den kernel so gestartet: sata.i hda=noprobe

Desweiteren habe ich ein verzeichnis angelegt und /dev/sda4 "gemounted". Dann mit fdisk die zweite Festplatte vorbereitet und das setup gestartet. Als Quelle habe ich das entsprechende Vereichnis ausgewählt.

Nach der Installation habe ich vorsichtshalber Lilo noch nicht installiert, weil ich keine Sicherheitskopien habe.

Es ist also von der DVD mit folgenden Parmetern zu starten:

sata.i hda=noprobe root=/dev/sdb1 noinitrd ro

Folgende Hardware läuft noch nicht richtig:
Soundkarte
3D-Treiber
DVD-Rom
Webcam

Hi,

You should have done some RECOVERY DVDs the first time for VISTA, but there should be a RECOVERY folder in one partition on the first HDD.

I have tried Ubuntu 7.10 (x86 and 64bit), Knoppix, DSL and SystRescCD and Coroona on LIVE-CDs, but all have stopped after about 10-60s after the CD have started...

It's bad that FSC doesn't work with Linux...
