A poem I wrote.

Nature of your love
Like the warmth of the morning sun shinning on my face, your love awakens me

Like the water of a river gently cascading down, your love gently cascades through every fiber of my being

Like the silent speaking winds, your love silently speaks to my heart

Like the air, your love is my breath

Like the stars, your love lightens my life

Like the embers from a fire, your love warms my soul

Like the earth, your love helps me grow

The nature of your love is my universe

Carol, this is a most lovely poem, redolent in style of the wonderful poetry of Elizabeth Barrett Browning. In fact it is a most remarkable and beautiful poem in its own right and if it reminds me of E A Browning in sentiments and character please accept this as my intended unlimited praise of the very highest order, for what you have created.

Beautiful and lasting. It will be so, as hers are.

Your friendship has been and still is, given quietly and unselfishly. You may wonder to yourself - Why does he mention this? What has it to do with my poem? The answer is that we are all the sum of our parts.
