When they are going to be in prison, I hope their "room mates" will know what they did.

Karen 27. October 2009, 19:15

:frown: That's horrible. I know it strikes a nerve with you, too. Like you said - I hope & pray she'll be okay, too. :o:

PainterWoman 27. October 2009, 19:53

"...four police officers, five chaperones and a host of teachers to supervise the dance..."

With all that security there, somebody wasn't paying enough attention.

And they are saying it's the parent's are responsible? Not so! It happened on school grounds.

Idiots!

Dacotah 27. October 2009, 21:22

Darko, I hope so too.

Karen a really big nerve. :frown:

Pam, I agree, Idiots. "The corner on the outskirts of school grounds where the girl was attacked, he said, was not part of the search." They couldn't see what the hell was going on on the outskirts. :irked:

"that lasted for more than two hours in a dimly lit corner of the sprawling campus"

"Rather than call for help, some of the students took pictures, police told ABC's San Francisco affiliate KGO."
:furious: :bomb:  :irked:

Dacotah 27. October 2009, 21:25

"KGO reported that police were called only after someone who was not at the scene heard people talking about the attack, which was still going on.

Police officers found the girl semi-conscious, curled up near a lunch table."

F*ck! Excuse the language! They should be put to death! How dare such pigs take advantage of a poor kid!!!! :furious: :bomb:

Dacotah 27. October 2009, 21:58

I agree Issy. :bomb: :furious:

Dacotah 27. October 2009, 21:59

Oh yeah, and the fucking idiots that stood by and watched and took photos.
:irked:

Stardancer 28. October 2009, 03:40

I hope the young woman is going to recover from her injuries, both physical and psychological.

How awful that that happened to her.

Dacotah 28. October 2009, 03:43

Stardancer, I hope and pray she will recover both physically and mentally too. Being raped twice I know she has a long road ahead of her. God willing He will help her recover both physically and mentally. It is harder to recover from the metal aspects, that will stay with her always. :frown:

Stardancer 28. October 2009, 04:06

I know.

:worried:

Dacotah 28. October 2009, 04:06

Kiran 28. October 2009, 07:25

Is there a God?

Dacotah 28. October 2009, 10:01

YES there is a God.

Kittylicious 28. October 2009, 18:50

That's a bloody awful story!

Dacotah 28. October 2009, 18:57

Hi Kitty, yes it is. :frown:

Dennis 28. October 2009, 19:43

GRRR! :knight: Off with their heads!

Dacotah 28. October 2009, 22:13

Hi Dennis, this just makes me so very mad, not only at the ones that raped this poor girl but to the ones that stood by, watched and did nothing to stop it plus took photos. :frown:

Rick 28. October 2009, 22:30

The good thing is what happens to child abusers in prison. If they make it to prison.

Dennis 28. October 2009, 22:32

If it was my daughter, they wouldn't make it to prison. :bomb:

Dennis 28. October 2009, 22:33

None of them.

Dacotah 28. October 2009, 22:35

Hi Rick, not to sure anything would happen to them in prison nowadays because they are separated from the other prisoners.
:frown:

Kiran 29. October 2009, 02:14

If there's a God why does he let these things happen in the first place? Why did he create this unjust world? Coz he was alone and needed a soap opera to keep him entertained?

Dacotah 29. October 2009, 03:09

Kiran, yes there is a God and God's son Jesus.
It is not God's fault that this happened.
I often ask God myself why bad things happen. Like to this young girl and to this little 9 year old girl, Jessica Lundsford .
He created this world but did not create the unjust mess we are in.
:frown:

Kiran 29. October 2009, 08:09

Reading that story, I wonder is there a god? If there's a god who created god and who created the creator of the god...? It's said that not a leaf moves without the wish of god. I think god is a sadist kid, he keeps himself entertained by conflicts by giving people different colors, by allowing scriptures to write that woman is created from man's ribs, women are lower than men, Brahmans are made from god's head and other castes from his feet. I can be more ethical if I don't believe in the crappy religions.
We also have to confess that we are fascinated by dominating bad boy traits. Plain, gentlemanly people don't seem to be interesting to us. To us they aren't as thrilling and exciting as the people having bad boy traits are.

Dacotah 29. October 2009, 11:41

Kiran, Yes there is a God, no one created God.
He is not entertained by conflicts.
He did not create woman to be lower then man, from man's rib God created woman to be a helper to him.

Kiran 29. October 2009, 13:01

If there is a god I pray to him if you are really there, and if you are not sadist, do not let bad things happen in the future.

Dacotah 29. October 2009, 13:04

Kiran, that's a nice prayer but I hope you understand that God has us here to learn. The lesson is for us to learn to love and help others.

Kiran 29. October 2009, 14:06

Ok so he will let such things happen in the future also? Then he is a sadist.
Carol, you will say burn a child's fingers everyday to teach him that it burns. Why god is bent upon teaching us this way, who told him to create this school, and who told him to create us as his students, he is a sadist, he created us so dumb that he would be able to teach us every day, he keeps himself entertained this way.

Dacotah 29. October 2009, 16:18

Kiran, I did NOT say that such things will happen again in the future.

Other prisoners find ways to get to such 'people' (who, BTW, are the second lowest on the 'totem pole', above only child rapists). Guards might have their attention elsewhere, for instance ('oops'). But they'll soon meet with someone who is able to do to them what they did to that poor kid.

That doesn't make it right (two wrongs, etc). But it does give them a sense of what the girl went through.

Dacotah 29. October 2009, 22:53

Hi David, I don't know. You might be right.

r♡se 30. October 2009, 17:32

That's disgusting

Dacotah 30. October 2009, 17:35

Hi Rose-Marie, very. :frown:

Thank you Issy. I sure needed that hug.

Mina 31. October 2009, 05:13

I know it has happened, will happen again, and it's just going to be this way sometimes.

Doesn't mean it doesn't hurt me to hear this. I've been raped, and as traumatic as the experience was for me., I simply cannot even comprehend how she will feel. How she will deal.

Some things defy understanding. I wish it wasn't so. :frown: I have been praying for her since I heard about this.

Dacotah 31. October 2009, 09:08

Mina, hugs. The first time I was raped I was screaming for help and others just walked by and did nothing so I understand how she feels. Like she was worth nothing for others to stop and help.
:frown:
Hugs.

Kimberly 1. November 2009, 01:21

:bomb: :furious: :irked:

Dacotah 1. November 2009, 01:21

I agree Kim.

Mina 1. November 2009, 17:44

Carol... *hugs*

They say you should always scream "FIRE"

Dacotah 1. November 2009, 18:21

Hugs
Mina, in this case I don't think it would of matter what she screamed. I also don't think she could of screamed, they beat her up really bad.

Mina 1. November 2009, 21:22

Yeah... I know..

I'm just saying in general.. I was taught in college to scream FIRE instead of RAPE... studies proved people tend to ignore hearing RAPE or even HELP, but always tended to check out FIRE.

*shrugs* it makes no sense..

Dacotah 1. November 2009, 23:58

Hugs, I know.

Mina 2. November 2009, 03:55
