In case anyone's wondering, that's me in the spacesuit begging for spare change so I can stay for a night.

Darko 3. November 2009, 17:37

"including an eight-week training course on a tropical island."

I hope they will realise that sitting up there in a tiny capsule is far different than being in a tropical island :faint:

Darko 3. November 2009, 17:37

r♡se 3. November 2009, 20:35

Ah. That sounds cool :D.

Carol 3. November 2009, 20:40

Mik

Darko, I thought that was funny too, in a tropical island. :D

Rose-Marie want to take me with you, only 8.8 million dollars. :D

43 people already reserved rooms.

r♡se 3. November 2009, 20:48

I definitely would. Can you imagine us in velcro suits?

Carol 3. November 2009, 20:54

You'd look great.
Me I'd look like......... :D

r♡se 3. November 2009, 20:56

Haha! That's not likely .

Carol 3. November 2009, 20:57

Yes it is.

r♡se 3. November 2009, 20:59

No, it isn't!
Unfortunately I don't have the 3 mils to show you I'm right awww.

Carol 3. November 2009, 21:02

You are wrong, don't think it would cost ya 4 mill for the suit. :D

r♡se 3. November 2009, 21:05

 Well that's true. But it wouldn't be the same wearing a velcro suite on earth, I think p:.

Carol 3. November 2009, 21:05

p: :D

PainterWoman 3. November 2009, 21:24

I think I'll stay right here on earth.

Maybe I could help load their luggage into the capsule and they'll give me a hefty tip.

Darko 3. November 2009, 21:30

They pay with credit cards so... no tips probably :irked:

Suntana 3. November 2009, 21:34

Scheduled to open in 2012? Uh Hmm. Right.
What a crock. The Space Shuttle program couldn't even remotely get close to achieving a mirage semblance of safeness and a carefree routine nature to it and it's already being retired. And we're supposed to believe this shady, amateur, Shade Tree Astronauts R Us operation is gonna have a Space Hotel up and flying and entertaining guests by 2012?

Yeah, there will be a Tropical Island involved. That will be where the Chief Executive Shyster of this sham of an enterprise will retire.

Carol 3. November 2009, 21:47

Pam, good idea. :D

Darko, you can give tips with credit cards.

You don't think it will open Carlos?

Suntana 4. November 2009, 00:14

That's 3 years away. NnnnnnNOPE! I'm quite sure it won't open.

Carol 4. November 2009, 00:49

Will see, you might be right. Wonder if they give refunds. :D

Mina 4. November 2009, 01:49

:eyes: I can't even afford my own place right now.

Carol 4. November 2009, 02:06

Me either.

Mina 4. November 2009, 02:20

How some people waste their money is beyond me really comprehending on a human level... :frown:

Carol 4. November 2009, 04:35

I'm going to stay right here on Earth...no matter what. I don't care if they said that the Earth was going to implode, but I could be rescued if I just hopped on a ship & headed to space. I'd be on Earth when the implosion occurred. I'm just that stubborn. p:

Carol 5. November 2009, 19:19

Really? I never would of thought you as stubborn. p: :D

Karen 6. November 2009, 01:00

 And I never would have thought of you as sarcastic! p:

Carol 6. November 2009, 01:20

 Oh no, never. :D

Karen 6. November 2009, 01:20

 I thought not. p:
