That one between two rocks looks nice - as long as rocks stay still :insane:

thetomster 3. November 2009, 20:22

Stomyr 3. November 2009, 20:24

rose-marie 3. November 2009, 20:40

Some pretty cool ones there, but I'd hate to be the neigbour of the light house! p:

Yes

PainterWoman 3. November 2009, 21:46

There are several I wouldn't mind as my own house and have always envisioned myself in a weird one anyway. Like #3, the house in a rock; #8 the rock house with moss growing on it; or the two that looked like space ships; or how about #39, the Dotty Wotty House...

I really admire the ingenuity of the the two old poor people: The lady in El Salvador who made her house out of plastic bottles and the Russian man who made his out of empty glass bottles.

Dacotah 3. November 2009, 21:48

Glad you two peas in a pod think my typo is funny. :D

Hi Pam, I like the waterfall one and several others.

PainterWoman 3. November 2009, 21:53

One of these days I will visit the Falling Waters house by Frank Lloyd Wright. It's not open now due to the very expensive renovations. Saw a documentary about it and all the cracks were shown.

He built Taliesin West in Scottsdale, AZ and I've been on two tours of that. If I remember, they didn't allow photos of the inside but I'd like to go again and, at least, take photos of the outside. No water fall there.

thetomster 3. November 2009, 21:53

@ Carol: p: p: p:
hi Pam ... the Dotty Wotty House would be my 2nd choice

PainterWoman 3. November 2009, 21:56

 The name alone cracks me up.

ellinidata 3. November 2009, 21:56

Thank you Angeliki.

PainterWoman 3. November 2009, 23:47

Yes, that's the one Carol.

Dacotah 4. November 2009, 00:04

Interesting home.

Minenow 4. November 2009, 01:48

Woah, I got a little dizzy just looking at some of them. I love the one with the big huge bolder, some, like the glass ones with no privacy and the top floor overhanging the first floor by twenty feet, downright made me :insane:

Those tree spheres?? They can't be more than like a clubhouse hangout?? Not a house, right?

Rose, I'd go crazy being a neighbor of the lights house. I like it dark when I sleep dangit!!!

I'm missing like five others that I wanted to comment on, but my mind is forgetful these days.. :D

Dacotah 4. November 2009, 02:09

Mina, my mind is forgetful too.
:D

Minenow 4. November 2009, 02:19

there WAS 46 pictures. I was trying my best but a lot of the info in my brain just plain ol fell out when I :eyes: saw Rose's comment!

risis1977 4. November 2009, 04:42

 I thought I love it..
Does it safe for earthquake...?

Dacotah 4. November 2009, 04:43

I :eyes:
:D
I like the waterfall house, I have to go back and look at the rest.

Zaphira 4. November 2009, 13:10

It seems that it gets more and more popular to build glass houses - I wonder why people feel the need for others to see them all the time. :left:

BabyJay99 4. November 2009, 14:35

:eyes: :D

Jeez... Can you imagine what it must look like at Christmas? :faint:

Dacotah 4. November 2009, 16:35

Kitty, I sure wouldn't want to live in a glass house. I don't like to be seen. :D

Léazz :D

rose-marie 4. November 2009, 19:52

:yikes:
I wonder how much their electricity bills add up to...

Minenow 4. November 2009, 21:04

That one house said it has it's own generator. :D

Yeah. Indeed. Christmas would be like when it's daytime 24 hours a day up North, but for a month! :insane:

I could stand to... Say, drive past it on the way home from work every day...

Kitty and Carol, :o: I agree. No glass houses. I needses my privacy!!

 Plus I'm so clutzy I'd probably break it! P:

Dacotah 4. November 2009, 21:57

Too much of a electic bill for me Rose-Marie. :D

Mina

SqueakeyCat 5. November 2009, 10:37

wonder if the one that was built into a cave, has bats like normal caves do...lol

also, it would seem that unless the mountain that contains the cave ever decides to collapse, its the best place for a house as it is safe from all the elements of mother nature.

Dacotah 5. November 2009, 12:00

I don't know if it is the same one I seen on tv but some cave homes I've seen do.

Nerak 5. November 2009, 19:03

:eyes: Wow! There are some very creative people out there.

Dacotah 5. November 2009, 19:20

Hi Karen, yes there is.

eagle4eyes 8. November 2009, 02:11

Found some cool and exotic houses.

I want to live in one

Dacotah 8. November 2009, 03:43

Hi Jaxs, how are you?
What one would you want to live in?

eagle4eyes 8. November 2009, 03:47

I would want to create my own crazy house

How have you been Carol?

Dacotah 8. November 2009, 05:07

Oh, I see.

Hanging in there Jaxs, how are you?
I made an updated post about what is going to happen to me in the next week.

eagle4eyes 8. November 2009, 06:15

Hope it is good news for you Carol.

Dacotah 8. November 2009, 10:14

Thank you Jaxs. You still didn't answer me, I keep asking you "how are you?".

eagle4eyes 8. November 2009, 14:55

I am doing good. Crunched my knee a couple of weeks ago from being clumsy

Dacotah 8. November 2009, 15:56

Glad to hear you are doing good.
Sorry about your crunched knee.
Hope it feels better now.

eagle4eyes 8. November 2009, 18:07

Not really. I keep doing stupid things that aggrevate it

Hope your tests go well and you can get some help

Dacotah 8. November 2009, 20:22

I'm sorry.

Thank you.

eagle4eyes 8. November 2009, 21:25

No need to be sorry. It just comes naturally to me

Dacotah 8. November 2009, 21:59

:D

eagle4eyes 8. November 2009, 23:13
