My OperaAll Hail the Spare Computer

For it is my savior, it giveth me income, it giveth me renewed hope that I won't end up on the streets, it giveth me something to do other than sit on my duff and drown in sorrow.
It's taken me about a week, which nearly cost me one client and may have cost me a very lucrative contract (still trying to salvage that one though), but at least I'm back up and running again. Had to double the memory to make it usable, and I'm really missing the CD burner, but alas, such is life.
Anyway, for those who don't remember, my computer died last week. It had been having problems for a little while, and I was trying to extend its useful life span as long as possible. Well, it finally went kaput, on my birthday no less. For the past week I've been bumming around, using public library computers and my brother's PC while trying to get this loaner computer up to (barely) acceptable working levels.
well, I finally did that. Looks like next week I'll be able to get back to a regular work schedule. Yay!
