Batman B3

Okay, here we go.
I like to know beforehand what will be in sequels of movies I like. Batman Begins and Batman: The Dark Knight are two movies I like. Being said, we KNOW there will be a 3rd movie, just not when. Comic book movies are the easiest to guess at. Here are some of my theories as to what will happen and who will be in the 3rd installment of Batman as directed by Christopher Nolan.
First, after scouring Wiki for as much background info as I could, I came across a page of Batman's Villains. There was a specific section devoted to mob bosses.
Mob Bosses:
The first boss on the list was none other than Falcone, the mob boss who appeared in Batman Begins(BB).
The second boss on the list was Maroni. He was the head honcho in The Dark Knight(TDK).
There were three on the list and the third was...Rupert Thorne. He MUST be the third and final mob boss to take down.
The Girl:
Rachel Dawes died in TDK. This leaves NO girl for Batman to be emotionally attached to. I thought of this early on and after reading through numerous pages discovered that Ra's Al Ghul(The bad guy in BB) has a daughter name Talia Al Ghul. She and Batman fell in love and were attached. Ra's Al Ghul is partially immortal because of the Lazarus Pits which are like healing pools or the fountain of youth. I suspect he will return in the 3rd movie as his fate was not fully shown. BB just shows him in the train before the crash. Who knows, he could have survived. Ra's thought of Bruce as a good heir to his fortune and lineage. He offered Bruce the lineage and Bruce turned it down as he did not want to kill anyone, especially not entire civilizations. Another reason I think he is still alive is that in TDK, at the beginning, ScareCrow still has a supply of the crazy drug coming to him. This means Ra's is still supplying it to him. Just a guess though.
Back to the girl, someone has to be put in jeopardy to be saved by the big bad bat.
Main Villain:
Due to a tip off in the Gotham Times(a promotional site for TDK) we now have a pretty good clue as to who the main villain will be in B3. The clue was left in an editorial section by the name Edward Nashton. If you look that name up in Wiki, you come up to a page about said name, AKA Edward Nigma, AKA The Riddler. Another clue was left by the Joker...sort of. He circled random letters and words and when you decode all of the mumbo jumbo, you get the following riddle.
Herrings are red
Corpses are blue
You're on the right track
But you don't have the clue
It might just be the Joker but it sounds like the riddler to me. lets break it down.
Herrings are Red: Red Herring, after looking it up, is a was in writing to mislead someone.
Corses are Blue: This was an answer choice on a quiz to see how clowny you are on one of the whysoserious.com pages.
You're on the right track: Getting close i guess.
But you don't have the clue: THE clue. No idea what that means. also, this could mean that we think the joker has left us something about himself but really its the riddler. have to wait and see i guess.
just found something more.
Page 2 features the "letter to the editor" section. One of the letters is "Dent cannot be believed" is written by an Edward Nashton. Edward Nashton is the real name of Edward Nygma (the Riddler).
Page 3 features an ad for the Iceberg Lounge. In the comics, the lounge is owned by Oswald Cobblepot (the Penguin).
Page 4 features an article about a Batman statue being added to the Wax Museum. Madame Soleil's Wax Museum was used in a 1966 episode of the Batman TV series, where the Riddler used a Batman statue to smuggle in a 'Universal Wax Solvent' from France, to be used later against Batman.
Notice that second bit? that might be a clue that the penguin will at least be mentioned in B3.
Secondary villains:
Bane: He has a story that could easily be put into this sequel. He broke batmans back in one issue and so Bruce had to sit out for a while letting someone fill his spot. the person who fills is spot is stupid so i think Nolan would drop that detail...this would mean no batman for months. this would raise doubt in batman in the citizens of Gotham. Villains would run amok. He would have to go round up the people. back to subject, Bane has connections with Talia Al Ghul, meaning he could very well be placed in here to tag along her storyline. He is also a formidable heir in Ra's Al Ghul's eyes. this would fit in there and add a sense of akwardidity(totally made that word up) to the storyline.
Hugo Strange, though not really a villain, knows Batman's true identity. Rupert Thorne, now mayor(very well might happen as the current mayor has no name) tortured Strange to tell him the identity. Hugo did not give in and died.
More on Thorne
Thorne is haunted by thoughts of Strange. This should be funny...seems he stepped down as mayor and got his corrupted goon, Hamilton Hill elected. Commisioner Gordon gets fired by Hill and replaced by Peter Pauling who is also corrupt. Finally he figures out who Batman really is. He hires Vicky Vale to take a photo of him changing. He then hires a hitman to kill Wayne. the hitman is a failure.
Thorne then learns that Hugo Strange faked his death and has been "tormented Thorne with experiments designed to simulate ghostly experiences. Thorne became convinced that Hill and Pauling were plotting against him and trying to drive him insane. Thorne killed Pauling but was eventually apprehended by Batman."
The ALTERNATE girl:
Vicki Vale. If she is in it, then the Ra's Al Ghul, Talia, and Bane storylines are out the window. Vicki Vale has a crappy track record so I hope she isn't in it. Ends up, there are a lot of clues all over Wiki that point to my Talia fork in the road. yay me.
Back to Talia herself:
Seems she and Bruce had a baby. This could very well be the saving grace for Ra's. If you think about it, Bruce was in the-middle-of-nowhere, Asia for a while. He could have met Ra's daughter Talia. A couple of years later, she could show up with the baby claiming Bruce as the father. Ra's wants to take over the body of Damian(name of the baby) so he can stay alive. or something like that...too far fetched for Nolan but you never know.
New update: Another Possible Villain.
Black Mask: Born Roman Sionis: Grew up in a self-absorbed family. His parents were very hipocratic. He grew to resent their "masks" that they wore in public. He killed his own parents once he was out of school. He took over the big company his father had constructed. He released a bad product and ran the company to the ground. Wayne bought the company and Sionis was pissed. He broke his mothers ebony coffin lid and carved a mask from one of the pieces. The chemical he made was used as a weapon against other people. he has a very strong gang following but the one requirement was a mask. everyone had to wear a mask when in his presence or while on the job. He was caught by batman after burning down the mansion ruins...again. his mask was melted to his face and he sat his butt down in Arkham Asylum with the rest of the loons. He escaped when Bane crashed a hole in the wall. This adds another point to the Bane story. Lucius Fox was captured shortly after. Batman saved him. He is heavily tied into a storyline with Catwoman. we might see her appearance too.
This next guy could very well be thrown into the background of the next movie.

Holiday: Mysterious serial killer who murders mobsters and others over a year (during The Long Halloween storyline). The killer's weapon is a .22 pistol (using a baby bottle nipple as a silencer) with the handle taped and the serial number filed off. Also, every crime takes place on a holiday and a small trinket representing each holiday is left behind at the scene. Alberto Falcone, youngest son of Carmine Falcone, is revealed to be the Holiday killer. However, Holiday was actually three people: Gilda Dent is the first, followed by her husband in order to keep her out of prison. When Alberto fakes his own death on New Year's Eve, they simply let him take over. Gilda disposes of the incriminating costume (a trenchcoat and fedora), as well as the last .22 pistol, throwing them into the furnace. Clues to Holiday's identity are found throughout the storyline, but even after reading the entire story, the identity of the killer is still left ambiguous.
Random things to remember when viewing B3.
Matches Malone: Alias of Batman/Bruce to get into the underworld.
Spoiler: Sidekick replacing Robin. Bale himself said he would quit if there was a robin. She isnt robin. could be a clue. (^_^)
