Dark Musings

Hi, I like to go simply by the name of dark magus. Now, before we get into anything about magick and occult practices, I would like to clarify something. When I use the word Magus for myself, I'm not speaking in terms of the Zoroastrian priesthood known as the Magi, those astrologer-priests that eventually became famed for visiting the Christ. Rather, I am using the meaning that it eventually evolved into the Old French used meaning. Namely, to label someone as being a magick user or a magician, though to my knowledge not stage magic.

Now that we have settled that small matter let me get to the real meat and bones of the subject. Welcome to my blog, this blog as some might gather, will deal with historical, mystical, philosophical and the occasional scientific views of the occult world and life in general. I'm always glad to get feedback on the issues being talked about though hopefully it will be in a positive and constructive light but lets face it, can't always get what ya want.
