Completely unrelated to the previous post...
I found this drawing laying about in my pre-crash documents. Thought I might share it here, even though it's very much unfinished. I doubt it ever will be, too.

The man you see in the painting/drawing/whatever is Shard Rivers, as the name of the post implies. His real name is Shard Erruch, but he keeps presenting himself as Rivers, out of spite and pride. His story is a somewhat sad one - one of growing up with outsider blood ih his veins in an ancient library-city where pure blood is much respected among the families. His mother being the leader of a mercenary band that once sieged the city didn't help either. I won't ramble on anymore about it. It's a long story...Anyways, he is a weapon master of sorts, showing great talent for all martial arts known to the community, and this would would make him well respected and aknowleged... if it weren't for his half-blood nature and a disdain for the society that shuns him because of his origin - one he couldn't choose, but is, in his own way, proud of.
Bottom line - he's a character that I made, but will never use for what was intended. The reasons for that are my own, and I won't work on the pic anymore either.
