More Stuffz

Here's another thingamajig:

This is actually the first pic I made - the one I posted last time is the second. Never the less, this guy here is Cross (spelling liable to change). He's also a big part of the Mysterious Project (ooooh :ko: ), and will be making more appearances in the stuff that I post later.

Now, the character that I posted prior to this - her name is Leira. All thanks for the both these names (and some others, as well) go to Erik Karlsson Berra - check out his NWN modules and YouTube movies over there ^^
It's that horrible thing that happens in every other RPG game. The joy with which you start up a game just dissapears when you click "New Game" and that headache prompt pops out asking: "Name?".
Ugh.

Wanna post more, but tired now...

Stuffzies

No posts in three months. Hrmf. How sad.

Well, anyway, I guessed it would be time to post something again. So, here's that something:
(Clikie on the thumb to see a 2048px version.)
I think she looks good. Smooth, clean. I decided to try out cell shading, since I was kinda getting tired of juggling with lines/no lines, smooth shade, blurry shadow, color mix type of thing. I actually reckon I did pretty well, considering my first tries at drawing anime (long story :ko: ). She will be (or, rather, already is) an important part of my Mysterious Project(tm). Has a backstory, has a personality, but - lacks a name :ko:
Anyway - the picture is so-so finished, but I won't put any more work in it. It was only meant to be a simple concept art doodle, but then I cleaned the sketch, added color, added shading, and then even a background (if you can call it that). However, I have other things to draw. I'll leave this as is.

And a little update on DSG: Oblivion has been fixed. Kinda. Some stuff is missing, some stuff still needs overriding/bypassing/fixing, but overall, it's stable and I have my characters and locations back. Maybe I'll finally make the elusive episode 25 soon. Maybe.

Expect more stuff from me soon. I'll be around more often. I hope

Surviving Horror 2

,

I've finished this pic yesterday... It took me I-don't-know-how-long to do it.
It features the two companions, Jina Odruss on the left, and Frogrin on the right, from the mod "Surviving Horror 2", made by Erik Karlsson "Berra". It's one of my favourite modules altogether, but I will not go into detail here. Visit the mod's page on NwVault ( http://nwvault.ign.com/View.php?view=modules.detail&id=4818 ), where I'll give a thourough review on all aspects of it. As soon as I finish the second playthru. And don't forget to download\play\vote!

Now, about the picture itself. I started working on it when I got my beloved graphic tablet. It's my first line-less work... well, almost. A couple of lines remain, but I didn't want to mess with those. It's completely drawn by me. I used several references for armor and clothing detail, and some pictures kindly sent by Berra himself. The overall result is pretty good, I think. It looks pretty messy in the thumbnail, so check out the full pic here:

I'm still beating myself up about making it in 1024x768 resolution only. I would be able to do greater detail if it was bigger, but now it's too late to enlarge it.

Comments, suggestions, etc. are much appreciated and very welcome. Post either here, or in the album.

I just stumbled upon and old render I made back when I was into 3D more. I looked at it, said "what the heck" and just uploaded it into the "my work" album.

These creatures play a minor role in the story "Path of a Demon" ("Staza demona"), a 50 page story that I wrote some time ago.
Its a pretty raw model, with no textures, only a procedural bump on the skin. This means that it's a rescource hog (on the lower part it even has a mouth, complete with several sets of teeth), since even it's wings are a bunch of splines and extrusions.
The cheesy gray aura is in no way connected with the creature - it was just me messing in photoshop and discovering the wonders of the smudge tool P:
