Lower Harbor

, ,

I encountered a few problems this morning down in Lower Harbor; mainly, one of the functions on my camera malfunctioned. Ah, electronics. Still, I got a couple of good image, I think.

This one shows the problem more clearly -- or "unlcearly" as it were. Since the self-timer wouldn't work, I couldn't have the camera shutter release delayed and so I ended up with a bit of camera shake. In this picture, though, I don't think it's the death knell (though it was for several!).

Forlorn

Early one morning I made this image of a father looking for his child across the beach. I found the sense of aloneness and the shadows of the early morning light intriguing.

A couple of views of the Marquette lighthouse. I took the first one a while back, the bottom I just took a few days ago.

Stained Glass

Stained glass windows in churches are among my favorite subjects, and I do find them to be challenging. Two of my favorite captures are from churches in Montreal.

I hope you enjoy them.
