If you have read your newspaper these days you may notice the suffering victims of foreign labour in Asia. I don't know if it is also been exposed widely by western media. It may come as a shock to the civilised or whatever is decent in today society.
The victims is growing in number, the death toll has past 600 (?) and the victims in thousands. These victims mainly are women, age 17 to 30, they have been abused, some are raped, push to the limit of their mental sanity and jump out of high rise apartment block. Death bodies in coffin flown in from Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong, the Gulf states.
These victims are hard working, family oriented people, who's only dreaming to improve their family welfare. Away from home only to meet tragedy. But still thousands will line up for the next job assignment, cause there are also countless numerous succes story of the return workers to their home,
I have also heard succes stories of those Indonesians who return home as a hero of their family.
But let's bow our head and pray for those fallen victims in their struggle for better life. Let there be no more casualties.
