Didn't they sing 'I got you, babe'?

So there was this guy writing in the BBC forums saying that if everyone was like him the world would be at peace. He said he had this book, and for as long as he lived by this book he and all the others who lived by this book would be living in peace, therefor if everyone lived by his book everyone would live in peace.
The book was, of course, the Quran, which is the book that we call the Koran over here. As such I found myself wondering why, in that case, they couldn't agree on what the book actually says. The day that I discovered that Sunni & Shia weren't a 60s vocal duo was the day they started blowing the poges out of each other. Both sides apparently agree the The Prophet believed that murder was a bad thing, yet both sides indulge in it.
Can you imagine if Christians were to act that way, why there'd be...
Ah...
OK, carry on with what you were doing. Forget I said anything.
