Aaaaugh! Not again...

I saw a burning car on the motorway today. 'Worth a blog' I thought and set to. Somewhere near the punchline I suddenly thought I should maybe save what I'd written - Just in case.

Before I could do it I suddenly had a brilliant idea for a title and without thinking I clicked on the 'title' box.

You know what happened next.

We need auto-save!!!!!

Oh yeah. That punchline. As we drove away I suddenly realised something.

The car's doors were closed.

Who designed this place anyway?...A foot in cold water

Maybe they closed the doors out of habit, or maybe to limit the oxygen, hoping to put out the fire. On the other hand.....

Red - It wasn't a joke punchline, it was an unpleasant thought that just hit me as I was driving away. I don't know how the people were because the stupid local stations were all playing a local football match! Just as well no one declared war...

Lois - I did wonder if maybe they closed the doors automatically, but I'm pretty sure if it happened to me I'd be outa there. Of course there are other considerations, we don't know how bad it was when they stopped the car, and of course it could have been a car thief simply destroying the evidence behind him.

I'm afraid as I drove past my first thought was 'Is it going to blow up?'. Many years back I was driving over a canal and saw a barge on fire, then within a split second I saw it blow up, then heard the bang, then felt the impact. It all happened in slow motion.

If I could just find out how to capture that switch to slomo I could get so much more done...

My neighbor's car in Canada caught fire, it happened while he was asleep and of course, no one was in the car. Some kind of electrical fault. Hopefully that was the case here.

Wow!! A barge on fire, and it blew up!! I would develop the instinct to run too!
