This is really so easy compared to the awesomeness of the result, I thought I'd better make a tutorial of it. It's a good way to start getting to know the layer effects in Photoshop, because the result here opens for further play and experimentation. But 'nuff talk, let's get down and dirty!

transformers, my opera, banner
I have today a new banner on my blog. That is because I was asked to make some for the community by espenao himself.
Head over to the
mothership and get one yourself.
Of course, since I made the originals, I couldn't resist hack my own work to my own benefit. Hah!
The logo is actually based on the Opera logo's O shape. Try and lay them toghether, you'll see. With that shape I played a bit with lines cutting and slicing the O, until it all resembled something that could come out of the Transformers universe.
