Eurovision = who cares the songs?

,

Last night I watched the Eurovision song contest 2008. Well not all of the show, only a few of the songs and the votings. Because every single year always the same thing happens awww

As happened before almost every country voted for the countries that they are neighbours or politically involved :furious:
It is a song contest god damn it.
It supposed to be a song contest. But it's like nobody gives a damn to songs... So it was no fun watching it for me...

Anyway, the results are:
1.place : Russia
2.place : Ukraine
3.place : Greece

Wicked gameAtonement...

I agree, great show but crap voting system. Russian song was not the best but was worthy of being in the top 5 at least. UKs effort was definately not the worst. That should have been Spain. :insane:

Of course that's just politics and no music contest unfortunately. I hate this foolish Dima Bilan with all my heart :D And I'm ashamed of him and his song and all his "show".:yuck:

I think you could travel your whole life in Russia and not see it all. i'd love to visit one day. Maybe the next Eurovision but I'll leave before the voting

And I'd love to visit too. Especially St.Petersburg and Moscow. If I'm not mistaken both cities are very expensive though.
