Devil's Den

We are each our own devil, and we make this world our hell

Devil in Paradise

Inside of my heart

there has a beautiful angel await

I frequently gaze at her in dream

She beckons me to come near

She sets my heart on fire

Her eyes are like a big cold lake

that keeps pouring into my heart streams

Although my paradise is like an empty bay

I don't want myself to blame

In order to warm her seacold stare

even centuries can wait.

Hi, Eve,

thank you for the nice comment. If you don't see any devil in my words, that means I am a qualified devil now. haha.

Pleased to visit ur blog.
This is A cadent and sentimental poem. I like the figurative line "Her eyes are like a big cold lake" and "even centuries can await".
