Dutch topographic anomaly

Whoever really observes the map of The Netherlands notices this strait line in the north stretching across a serious part of sea. This line is actually a very long dyke and was constructed almost 100 years ago.



I always wanted to film the effect it has when you cross it by car (there is a highway constructed on top of it) because for 20 minutes ore more while driving 120 km/h (time it takes to cross the dyke) you actually do not need to steer.

Well another time lapse movie here (made during a typical Dutch december type of weather):

This is a 1 second time lapse in stead of a two second time lapse (more smoothly).

Time lapse continued,

This time, I recorded approximately 3 hrs of sky. Unfortionaly, from our house, there is no unobstructed view towards the sky. But regardless of this, the following movie has a high Zen factor....
