being back in the usa for 2 weeks (way to less... i know)
anyway, it is really great being here again, seeing how much the kids have grown in just one year...
guess i have to come back every year! cannot stand thinking about not seeing them for such a long time!
it is just so cool. life is just different here and i actually like i :-)
but i also like coming back home EVERY time i was gone!

since yesterday i am working in the children's home in Bissendorf.
so far so good.
i really didn't know what to expect when i arrived there yesterday. but they were all really nice and the kids asked me a lot of questions and they were very open minded. really cool! :-)
i already took over the supervision of J.E: doing his homework.
in the beginning it was a li'l rough, just as Karin told me but after I got him to understand that i am gonna help him and that we can do his homework (more or less) together he became more calm and got his homework done. in the end he told me it was a little fun doing the homework with me and that he wants to do 'em with me every day now. that is pretty cute. but I really don't want anybody to come to close to me because i am just staying for 8 weeks and afterwards i am not gonna be there in that group with these kids anymore. but i told everybody that i am gonna stay for just 8 weeks. i am sure they got that! :-)
in the end of the day Anke and i set together to have a little chat about my first and, our impressions and how i feld and everything. that was real good.
now i can start a new day there with new energy and a good feeling!

ja well i am not quite sure if that is right! (friends will be friends)
since i am back in more or less "good old germany" i had to realise i really did lose some friends.
didn't ever believe just becaue i am gone for a year i am gonna lose a friend. now it seems like there are just 3 left out of 8 (at least in that clique).
it is just not really funny and i don't really know what to think about that. but i guess on the other hand now i know WHO my FRIENDS really are.

man i feel kinda punked or something.
it cannot be true that it is that hard to find a freaking place for an internship! i mean does nobaody want a real cheap help ? ;-)
i think it is not quite fair that i have to call this one stupid children's home about a million times and everytime they tell me they don't have time or so. hmm sure. well they should just tell me they don't want anybody to do an internship there... AAARRRGGG...
well i guess it is time to try it in a different way then!
hahaha

since i am back in germany for about a week now i had to realize that i didn't have any "german"
ice-cream yet!
I DECIDED THAT THAT WAS NOT OKAY!!
so i went to roedinghausen with knolle and enjoyed a nice cup of ice-cream with strawberries! hmmmm
yum yum!
it was real good! no doubt. but there are waaaaaay more ice-cream flavours in the USA to discover than here in germany!

so now that i am back here in germany i have got to experience eveything again
i went out to see a friend of mine and we decided to go to one of our cafes. and i was actually real happy to go there because i really used to like that there! but seriousely I didn't like it at all this time! i mean i don't know if it was just our server or if i am kind of spoiled from the us...
but anyway our server was os freaking impolite! i didn't wanna believe it! OMG! well after we were done there we left with not even a penny of tip! I didn't think that that was necessary...
they probably should get a training from some u. s. american servers here
well we'll see how it goes the next few days and weeks...
or i'll just come back
(so maybe I'll see u sooner than u think!)

ja well I am back in germany. if it is really that good I don't know yet cause right now I just miss my hostfamily, friends and Boston!
the weather here sucks and everything is weired! I just can't help to speak english all the time and everybody is looking at me really strange then!
the streets here are waaaaay too samll. I am just not used to that! i guess i can not even fit in the parking spaces here. OMG!!! heeeeelp!
knolle and anne won't even give me ONE minute by myself!
hope I'll be back REALLY soon!!!

ja alles naehert sich dem ENDE...
ich musste heute schon der julie bye bye sagen, da sie nach canada gefahren ist und ne weile dort bleibt und bis sie wieder da ist, bin ich schon weg...
aber dafuer war's n lustiger vormittag. wir waren alle zsammen (d.h. julie, john, anna, tracy, izzy, willi, david, hannah und ich) bei dunkin donuts und ahben da unsere kleine "party" gehabt!
war sehr lustig mit den kleinen knirpsen... und fast wie im kiga... (mit so vielen).

da habe ich nun staendig die EM verfolgt, um zu sehen, wie weit es die deutschen spieler bringen und ich muss ja zugeben... die waren ja gar nicht sooo schlecht! ;-)
am sonntag habe ich mich dann vor den amerikanischen fernseher gesetzt und, durch meine 800 programme gezapped und nach einem sender gesucht, der die uebertragung bringt. ich habe den sender dann sogar gefunden!
ich habe dann also mit inga 10 sekunden im verzug das EM final spiel LIVE gesehen!
wir haetten es uns aber besser nicht angucken sollen... warum muss ich ja wohl nicht sagen!
naja...ich glaube ich bleibe einfach hier...bei den gewinnern...schliesslich haben sich unsere RED SOX
