My Opera is closing 3rd of March

INVERSE VANDALISM

Create. Live. Evolve.

I'm back in Business!

Howdy everybody!
Finally!
I have waited eight months to recieve a payment for damages to my vehicle and I finally got it.
In August, I was creamed by a drunk driver and until recently have been without wheels.
It's been great, actually. I've lost a good bit of weight from walking so much and it's also allowed me to save some money.
A couple of days ago, my lawyer called with the news, and I immediately hopped into Ice Berg Slim (my horrible, yet kind of sweet 1988 Lincoln Towncar)and drove to Metarie to pick up my check. Shortly after opening up a new bank account, I went to the computer store and got a new laptop and an external hard drive.
I also bought a HD projector!
I needed it to help with the transfer of crap from my old laptop to the new one. (I recently punched the other one's lights out. Seriously. The screen doesn't light up. Don't ask.) I had run my old piece into the projector and the external hard drive to get my crap off of it. Here'a pic of the elaborate setup.

The projector only weighs five pounds and fits in my laptop bag! I started hooking it up to everything...

...I'll never own a TeeVee again.

Now I can get back to those requests for cover songs!
I'll send each of you a message as I complete them.
French Quarter Festival is coming up.
And Jazz Fest is right around the corner!
I'll keep you posted.
Happy Easter!
Peace.

Happy Easter to ya too!

Glad that the cheque finally came through and you're back on your feet again...bigsmile bigsmile

by the way, have you hear of a singer by the name of Zachary Richard? He's based in your part of the world I believe, just got an album of his and it's phenomenal (at least to me).

Take care and be well!

Oh yes! Liz had a great holiday (translation: ate her fill of chocolate eggs, bunnies, jelly beans and little gummy bunnies)smile Two sets of grandparents made sure that she was well supplied-at least a year's worth!

Awesome! Check out the size of that screen! smile

The photographs don't do it justice. The quality is amazing. I'm a freakin mobile movie theater!

Hey D! Nice to see you again! I've got some new poetry for your ears coming up. I need to steal some software first however.

What up Yoop! It's been a while. Yeah, Iceberg Slim is a sight to behold. And very economical... But where it lacks it more than makes up for in style, grace, and Straight Up Pimpingness.

You the man! bigsmile

(I won't ask about the mileage. Al Gore you are not.)

Oh, I used to be Gorish, and I still am...I guess.
You just can't tell by looking at me.

Thanks for stopping by Ricewood! The painting is looking good!
