Quick joke. A couple of senior execs are talking abt Societal affairs of Americans. Some were of International countries, most were American. So one international member came to a question at the end of it all...asked to the Americans...

"What do u guys think,then?? Do u think most Americans are Ignorant or Apathetic?" A pause passes by before one of the American execs answered.

"Mister," he said "We don't KNOW and we don't CARE!"

That's a good one! Too bad it's not a joke. Willful ignorance is the norm here. The only thing to do is move away. I'm considering Costa Rica or Honduras.

I understand wanting to run away to a foreign land and I long for southern (well more southern than here anyway) shores myself but what a shame to leave when you could stay and be a force for change. This country needs all of it's bright and free minds...just a thought:)
