DAY 1 of the purge
Wednesday, July 19, 2006 2:28:03 AM
Today is day one of my cleansing.
I woke up a little late this morning, warmed up my last cuppa joe, and viola! Just like clockwork, I marched off to the john. I'm definitely not doing this because I'm constipated.
I was late to work because I underestimated the difficulty of separating juice from fruit.
I figured blending then straining would supply me with enough juice to quench my appetite
for a day. But the little bastards had a plan of their own it turns out. They wouldn't relinquish the precious cargo, so I ended up with couple of teaspoons of liquid and a big bowl of goop. Might as well...so I added a pint of distilled water to the concoction and filled my Nalgene bottle. I guess until I purchase a juicer, I'll have to do it this way.
I had to do paint touch-ups on a house downtown and it was ungodly hot. I brought a gallon of water to quench my thirst and occasionally I would throw back a big gulp of fruit paste. Come to think of it, it's 9 pm and I just took my first piss. I must have sweat a lot!
Just whipped up some Granny Smith and carrot cocktail with cinnamon and cayenne pepper. (they balance out nicely, actually.) No hunger pangs yet, and I don't know if that's good or bad.
I don't think I've put my digestive system "to sleep" yet, so it probably means that I'm taking in too much pulp. Too much like actually eating. Aargh! Peristalllssiiss!
Damn, I need a juicer if this experiment is to work.... Anyways, it's only the first day.
No sign of a bowel movement yet. We'll just call that "BM" from now on.
I hypothesize that by tomorrow afternoon I'll be feeling it a little. That's just a gut feeling.
HAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAAHAHHAHA!!!!!........gut feeling....
Peace, Love, and Chicken Grease!
