Today is great. The weather is perfect. The parrots across the street are busy snapping twigs of the trees to upgrade their castle in the palm tree down the street. My two Oscars have become thugs and will try to eat your hand if you get it to close to the tank. I've been trying to come up with some gangster names for them. Right now, their names are Vinny and Legs respectively...
The phone is still ringing off the hook for Faux Concrete Solutions. Here's a slide show of a job I just did:
It's festival season in New Orleans. French Quarter Fest just ended and Jazz Fest is right around the corner. Some friends are coming in from Texas and we're having a blowout party on May 3rd. My roommate is moving back to Oregon so after the party I'm gonna need another one. Any takers? Anyways, we're gonna have a band play in my bedroom. I may have to jam a bit as well. I'll take some pics. I finally uploaded an album from Mardi Gras. Check it out.
I just joined the Audubon Nature Institute so I can go to the Zoo and The Aquarium of the Americas with a guest for free any time I want. I just went to the aquarium and took a shit-ton of pictures. I'll have an album up eventually. I'm still planning on traveling down to Ecuador to train howler monkeys on the finer points of banjo making and whiskey stillin'. I'm gonna have to push it back to June. May is looking pretty busy. Anyways, there. I'm updated.

Naming fish...I am so unimaginative...puffer is "Puffy", algae eater is "Hoover"...
Beautiful slide show on your concrete work...now I am looking at my green painted (inherited) cement with renewed disgust!

The fish are growing really fast. My girlfriend came over to my house after not seeing them for a week and she was stunned at how much bigger they were. I can't tell because I stare at them every day.
