INVERSE VANDALISM

When most people think of Hohner, they think of harmonicas. They make all kinds of instruments though. Mary, a good friend of mine, gave me a Hohner guitar a year or two ago. It's a small unassuming thing and I rarely play it. The other day I was tidying up a bit around the house when I happened upon it. It was covered in dust and the strings were rusting. "Poor little guitar" I thought so to work I went. I cleaned her up, put some new strings on, and tuned her to an open D tuning. The more I tweaked her, the better she sounded. I've played her a few times since and decided to make a recording as a tribute to my lonely lil' Hohner. Three tracks. All her. Enjoy the crappiness that is my playing!
