... What is it? Is it the coincidental capture of a moment in time? Or is it the calculated, planned memory of the photographer? Is the coincidental moment of lesser value then the calculated one? How do we look at pictures? Are we still capable of looking at them the right way? After all, aren’t we over-supplied with information and multi-media stuff nowadays? Do we still evaluate images when we first take a look at them? Do we grasp the hidden intent, or the obvious? Or do we just transfer them to our memory without realy looking, understanding?

After a bit of a bad start, this week was all a summer's week can offer. Oh, I did make this mistake for marking a good spring week as summer. We had such a nice week. First time the dog came along with the vacation and he did very well. Except that he bit me in my finger, but I guess this was a bit of my own doing. I put my hand into the bench at the wrong time and ignored some signals....

I just came back. Had to pick up my son from a school party at 23:30. Tomorrow is just another schoolday for him (14 years). Time is moving soo rapidly on him. He met his first girlfriend three weeks ago. It all seems so innocent.... What a great age he has.

I have been thinking about my sister. I miss her sometimes. She is sooo sweet, but lives quit some distance from me, which makes it difficult to visit her often.... I should visit more often though....

Another (complete) day of work. I did a lot of administrative work today and managed to work through a pile of due calls. Feels good.

Sometime ago, my neighbour came on over to get some advice about the purchase of a new laptop. We talked about it sometime and I gave him his advice. I asked him to give me notice about his decision, but I never heard from him until today.... He bought the machine sometime ago and now he was wondering if everthing was alright.... He thought that some things did not work the way they should. Suddenly they know where to find you when they need you.....
