Until the weekend?

Well, actually I did decide what to do that weekend. I just didn't actually do it. While the intention was to get started then, I didn't really make the promise, even if it was implied...
Anyway, I believe that writing this could be an indication that I'm starting this diarylike-thingie I set out to write, in the hope that my life has enough interesting moments to write about, or failing that, that I have enough interesting thoughts, ordinary or not. So, what has happened lately that deserves a mention?
Well - I finally decided that I should upgrade my PC from being equipped with a CD-burner to being equipped with a DVD-burner. So, I bought one, and waited until the next day before installing it; it's a lot of fiddling to get the PC out from the desk, which is big, heavy, and doesn't really provide easy access. Fortunately, I rarely have to do anything at the back of the PC, let alone inside it.
After the easy task of removing the CD-burner and installing the DVD-burner, and the slightly more complicated task of getting the PC back into place, I burnt a film to test it, to make sure it worked. It worked like a dream, so my dad can look forward to upgrade his really old CD-burner with a new, fast one.
Anything else? I finally gave in to the constant advertising on TV. Or something. I was in need for toothpaste again, so I bought one that claims to whiten my teeth. According to the advertising films, my teeth will get so bright, there will be a loud "ping"-sound whenever I smile. That will be fun to test.
In other news, there's not much news. I have been window shopping, looking at cool gadgedts, nice clothes, and beautiful girls. Nothing unusual there. Well - except for one girl I just got a fleeting glimpse of: She seemed to be dressed in really old fashioned clothes. Not like last century old, but the century before that, or something. Costume ball? Goth? No idea. Looked kinda cool though.
Well, I guess that's it for this post. All that's left for me now, is to cross my fingers and hope I find something interesting (enough) to write soon.
