All these poems are dedicated to my beautiful girlfriend Cherry. Whom I'm so madly in love with.Poetry is the medium of which I can truly convey my message to her that she is my one true love. I can't get enough of her.She completes me. She is my life, my love and my best friend. I am so lucky to have her in my life. I thank God each and everyday for her.

My True Love
I have found my one true love.
An angel sent from heaven above.
I tell her I love her, but how does she believe?
For sometimes she will doubt me and think that I'll leave.
To me, she is more precious than the most valuable jewel.
My life and love not shared with her would be nothing less than cruel.
It's been a year now that our bond as grown.
I'm more in love with her now, than anyone I've ever known.
I know one day we will be together.
And we'll face the challenges through any weather.
She's the greatest gift God could ever give.
Without her I don't know how I would ever live.

Cherry's Smile
Everytime I see my Cherry smile,
it makes me want to go the extra mile
No matter how much I'm feeling blue,
all it takes is her sweet smile to get me through.
Each moment with her is all I long for.
The two of us together, God only knows what's in store.
And one day I shall take her hand.
United as one, the both of us will stand.
I know there's nothing we can't face.
With the help of our dear Lord and his grace.
I promise this day I will do all to provide.

Time stands still when you're here.

Unconditional Love
I will often sit here and think now and then
Why does this girl want me, when she has any choice of men?
She has beauty that can bring a king to his knees.
Yet she wants someone as insignificant as me.
I don't have a lot of money or a fancy yacht.
Yet she accepts me for all the things I'm not.
I would never be chosen for a magazine cover.
But still she sees me as her one and only lover.
What have I ever done to deserve such a treasure?
I promise to love and care for her beyond all measure.
As our destinies have crossed,
I hold her close in fear she may be lost
This is the woman I want to share my life.
Just the two of us together as husband and wife.

Love Is...
Love is more than most would expect.
It involves caring, sharing and respect.
Love is always understanding.
Never someone who's completely demanding.
Love is there when times are rough.
Sometimes a simple embrace is often enough.
Love has nothing to do with a physical lust.
It involves something in you they know they can trust.
Love means giving without expecting anything in return.
It means the happiness and well being of another is the greatest concern.

How Do I Express?
How do I express, what my heart wishes to convey?
I want to tell you "I love you" in some many different ways.
Like the way you smile at my every word.
Or the way your voice sounds as sweet as a morning bird.
I love the way you make my heart skip a beat.
I can only imagine what it will be like when we finally meet.
For each moment with you I would not trade,
no matter how much money I would be offered to be paid.
In you I've found a partner for life.
Not only my best a friend, but a future wife.
If words could express all that your worth,
each word would expand around the whole earth.
You are all and everything I'll ever need.
So let us take our relationship wherever it will lead.

Loyalty
I will support my girl to the best of my loyalty.
Being a lady, she deserves nothing less than royalty.
She carries herself with such dignity and class.
Standing behind her is, the secret to a relationship that will last.
Though we hardly get to meet as much,
I will always continue love her and stay in touch.
Nothing pleases me more than to see her succeed.
She has me forever by her side, no matter what she may need.
For love means not how much it will cost,
but "How will I live with myself if ever she's lost?"
I give myself without expecting anything in return.

The love we share is ever so deep.
For there's a bond between us that we keep.

Not the world's interpretation of a primal lust.
The world does not understand the meaning of love.
For true love is only God ordained from heaven above.
