Opera, a Glimpse into the Past and Future
Thursday, 30. July 2009, 17:55:06
Year after year, Opera Software has continued innovating web browsers. Can you imagine yourself now, surfing the web in one tab, having to see all the pop ups and other annoying components? Thanks to Opera, you no longer have to.However, back in early days, Opera was not a free-ware application. That's where the issues started. Struggling to find a solid revenue model and seeing other free browsers implementing their innovated features, it was critical for Opera Software to act fast, and that's what they did.
With the release of Opera 8.5, fat lady was set free from the claws which were holding her back. Running all over the Internet and singing songs about freedom, she quickly became people's favorite web browser. Continuing evolving to lighter and faster body, once fat and now slim madam is in a shape like never before.
So what's next, you ask? Well, there are some good and bad news. The good news: a team of professional stylists are currently working on her make-up while fitness experts continue to improve her performance on a track. The bad news: you will have to be patient and wait.
Opera has come a really long way. Making our browsing experience faster and easier with every release, our sexy lady just keeps going forward and you better not try to stop her.
