Arthouse

, , , , ,

I'm in love with France. I love French culture. I love French people. I love French music. I love French movies. And I'm in love with French animation. But I wanna share with u my feelings about one movie I've just watched.

It's about the French movie called 'Un homme qui dort', and it was the first example of true 'arthouse' - very boring, strange & clever film. It's about a guy, who'd left his study at the university and started to be a 'guy who doesn't care' - he didn't care 'bout friends, family or love, he was just existing, not living.

At the very beginning it was kinda fun 4 him. He was like some cool guy, who owns the city and he was undead towards history. So everything was kinda normal. But soon he understood that it would be not so easy as he thought. Firstly he became a little crazy 'bout crowd, the city itself etc. It'd started to annoy him more & more until he started to hate all this.

So at the end he understood that all the careless was useless. He hadn't learnt anything. He hadn't changed anything. Not a single molecule in the city hadn't cared 'bout it. But it was too late to change anything. And this was the last minute of the movie.

I thought it would be way more boring and would not make any scence. But I was wrong. Of course the shape of the idea is very and very strange and it's not 4 everyone. But the idea was brilliant. U can't change the world with doing nothing, it only kills u and nothing more. So just stand up and start doing something while it's not too late. So it was kinda even inspiring, 4 me.

'Un homme qui dort' is very similar with Kafka's works. I'm not sure if u can watch it 'till the end, but if u will, I suppose, it can be very inspiring 4 u.

NostalgyHappy birthday 2 me! Happy birthday 2 me!
