I haven't written here 4 a veeery long time. It's not because I'm lazy or something (of course I'm lazy but still), it's just because of a large amount of exams I have 2 pass.
The reason I'm writing it right now is music again. I'm kinda crazy 'bout it, IMO. Anyway, it's not 'bout music, it's 'bout guy whose name is Gastón Viñas. He's freakin' genius. I've seen a few of his works and they r all extremely amazing 4 me. If u'll ask me 'Y only 4 u?', I response 'because the author has such a strange or even sick style & vision'. His works r very strange, creepy, kinda Gothic and maybe even sick.
Here I'll show u a couple of his works.
This one called 'Waiting for the Miracle'. As 4 me it causes the same emotions as the song called 'Paranoid Android' by Radiohead. I love this picture more than others, 'cause it's sorta calm, peaceful, even dreamy. Like all around is dark, gloomy, cruel world, but there's a few things that are making your life easier such as sun, friends (even if u don't have one) and love. They r not making your life easier, actually, they r the reasons u r still alive. And u r sitting on the tree, all alone & waiting the sun 2 bring a few sunlights and warmness that'll keep u up.
What a coincidence, it's raining outside and I'm talking about gloomy things. x)
It's kinda hard writing about it. I suppose it depends on u, which emotions or minds will u get from his artworks.
But he's not only drawing artworks. He also has comics works and they r even better than his artworks. 4 example I loved his 'Big Adventures' a lot. It reminds me of some Henry Selick's works but the comics is kinda darker.
