What a night II

I got to hang out and watch them work on their new CD. It was pretty interesting. I was mostly impressed at how much attention went into detail. They were working on the vocal track to a song - just the choruses - and spent more than an hour doing it over and over. Painstaking work!
So, I went next door to The Sportsman's to see what was going on. I found a seat at the bar and ordered a beer. I turned and Dee Adams was next to me. I got talking to her and a few other people and before I knew it it was time for the band to play. The Sportmen, which is sort of the house band, was playing, but they had a substitute that night - Mark Winsick. So I was treated to a performance by Mark Winsick, Duane Hall and John Culliton Mahoney. Buffalo legends all.
Before long, we were enjoying the music. I saw Geoff Fitzhugh Perry of Babik, who I had worked with just a few days earlier too. Small world and The Sportsman's seems to be the center of it.
