Has anyone ever got the Opera History component workign? I do have all the required tools but somehow it fails to work. I have posted more details and a screenshot of the error here :http://groups.google.com/group/Google-Desktop-Plugin-OperaHistory/browse_thread/thread/3ee3b91863d58a22/de4a5a79c9067703#de4a5a79c9067703

Opera is not a web browser, Opera is an internet suite dedicated to giving you quick and easy access to information. They already have included E-Mail and RSS. The way I see it this breaks down to :
Rss = News, Updates
Web pages = Information obtained by using a Google search on a specific subject.
Widgets : How often do you find information that is right in front of you but you don't get it? More often than you think. Widgets are for those words that you don't know the meaning of, for a quick Google Image search on that animal with that weird name. A quick conversion between pounds and euros.
Widgets are here to translate information into thing that you can understand it doesn't matter if it is a word, a unit or a thing something you need some help identifying what is behind it.

I have just received a new PC for home/office use. It is a sweet machine boosting a Athlon 3000+ with an Asrock 939 Dual SATA II mobo. I have the HDD connected to the Sata II connection and successfully installed windows XP on it (it did require a driver though) but Ubuntu fails miserably on this machine.
I did some research and I found out that it is most likely a problem with the combination of a IDE DVD drive and a SATA Harddrive.
I have exactly the same problem with my own PC (a MSI NeoV-2 with 2 IDE HardDrives and 2 IDE optical drives, SATA support is onboard but disabled in the BIOS) so I doubt it is just a problem with the combination of these two. I am extremely disappointed in Ubuntu for failing to fix these critical bugs.
As we speak I am downloading the installation CD for Dapper Drake if that fails I will have to keep Windows XP on those two machines. I suggest that if Ubuntu wants to fix Bug #1
they start by fixing this bug.
I submitted a Bug report : https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/+bug/41753

Just wanted to bring TA Spring to your attention
It's a free open source RTS using the game files (and many mods) made for Total Annihilation, the critical acclaimed RTS. Right now it has many mods available (from WW 2 to future space combat) and is played by hundreds of people daily.
I suggest you defiantly give it a try, everything is well balanced and if you dont like the standard maps + mods you can download tons more, or create some yourself!
You can download the Linux and Windows version here : http://taspring.clan-sy.com/download.php
(be sure to try the torrent if you use Opera 9)
and some extra mods + loads of maps can be found here : http://www.fileuniverse.com/?p=listing&ID=90
