This group is for people who have been touched by Domestic Violence in some way. You do not have to be a victim of Domestic Violence to join this group, you must only have the true desire to see Domestic Violence come to an end. In the links section you will find a number of different websites that have great information to assist you in finding information about DV resources. In the files section you will find various forms that might be useful to you as well as information sheets on different topics. Facts: About 1 in 3 American women have been physically or sexually abused by a husband or boyfriend at some point in their lives. 30% of all female murder victims are killed by their husbands or boyfriends. 40% to 60% of men who abuse women also abuse children. Domestic violence happens in all kinds of families and relationships. Persons of any class, culture, religion, sexual orientation, marital status, age, and gender can be victims or perpetrators of domestic violence. No one deserves to be abused. Period.
