You are welcome Scott. I am enjoying your blog. I´ll see that movie Monte Walsh, sounds interesting

On another note, yesterday I wached an old British movie: "Tom Jones"

i remember that movie. and i remember the novel by fielding.

the movie was very entertaining. and funny. young albert finney in the eating scene... great comedy.

"monte walsh" is a gem... a true 'sleeper' jeane moreau, the great french actress is in it...

and of course those two underrated veterans of film ... lee marvin and jack palance are in it.

it's kind of a sad story but well produced. mitch ryan gives an outstanding performance as the young 'compadre' of the seasoned cowboys who turns bad to survive.

i don't know the movie that your clip is from, but, i enjoyed it immensely, and normally, i don't like westerns (sry, but my father sorta wore me out of westerns, war movies & especially john wayne)...but for what its worth, i enjoyed the clip & song very much.

and welcome to my friends list.

This movie had Clint Eastwood and Lee marvin, living as parteners of the same woman...in the gold rush, on a only males community. (No J. Wayne here.) The song is the best part of the movie.

The Hatary movie was a comedy filmed in Tanganyca, lots of action catching animals alive from vehicles...whe I got back to the Jungle, did the same thing with my VW beetle (63 vintage) for herding Cebú & Indubrasil cattle.

Now, the movies I see are more like "The old man who read love stories" the only/best Richard Dreyfuss acting. Or "Fly away home" a caption below:
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us
At the conclusion of the production the sixty-imprinted actor-geese were led in migration to the TomYawkey Wildlife Center on the south coast of South Carolina to winter...(says the illegible caption footer)

See you, DonYan
