I even have blocked the facebook.com domain to show up on other websites, using content blocker. So they cant track me with their 'like' button. Every time that button is loaded on whatever website, facebook will know. Then the next time you log in to Facebook, you will get adds based on what sites you have visited. The same thing goes for Google adds. Every time You see a Google add...
When I was writing this comment I came to think about Opera mini and Turbo. Will they start to use this kind of adds based on your surfing habits, in the future?

For me personally, I'd rather see relevant ads and info related to what I like than to see ads for penis pills or another college degree. So for me, the Facebook and Google tracking aspect isn't creepy or annoying. It's the nature of the beast, and I've gleaned so much free information from the Internet, that I kind of embrace it's free model supported by advertisements. I still don't think I've ever intentionally clicked an ad in 17 years (has it been that long?).
