I used to hate YouTube with a passion, and to some extent still think it's a waste of time. Nevertheless, I created an account 1 year ago. Last night I finally uploaded something.. and will continue to upload what I believe is over 10 years of video I have on tapes and hard drives throughout my home.
Since I never delete anything, there is an insane ammount of video. To put things in perspective a bit, my cell phone has over 300 videos alone sitting in it, right now. So, I've got my work cut out for me. At any rate, this seems to be a worthwhile endeavor, since I've gotten a decent ammount of activity, some subscriptions and friends linking up and stuff in less than 24 hours. All of this is encouraging. The best part is that most people have never seen or soon forgot about a lot of the video I have, making each one a bit of a surprise. For those not involved, my YouTube channel should serve as a video snapshot of my life, 1-2 minutes at a time. Like the Never Ending Pepsi:
If you've met me in person, then you may have heard me go off randomly about how I hate YouTube's site design/interface. For that reason alone I only visit the site when:
Friend: Oh dude you gotta see [description of video], go to YouTube. .ed: Ugh. Are you sure its there? Friend: Yeah just search for [description of video]. .ed: Yeah, (I know how to search for things, ass) but did you actually see it on YouTube? Friend: Yeah, just go.
If the answer is "No, but it should be there." I get sad. Well, thanks to someone who has much more free time (and probably inve$tor$), there is SofaTube. A site that lets you watch videos from YouTube (and Revver)and displays them in a far more aesthetically pleasing way, with much less clutter and less site load time. Designed specifically for Wii Browsers (that's you), it will more than likely feature a few upgrades as feedback rolls in but for now it blows away anything else like it.pleas.ed

I say rumor only because I don't want it to be true. The above image, apparently the cover of the September issue of Nintendo Power, reveals "Sonic and the Black Knight" as a Wii exclusive. No information on the title is available yet, but stay tuned to N+ for developments.
On a side note, WHY T ...
It's a WiiWare week, with two third party games. One has to do with pirates, the other is tyre racing. Unfortunately I couldn't find a picture of a pirate with a tyre, so we'll have to do with one on the moon. It's practically the same thing.
